Toms Whisky Review – Edinburgh Whisky -The Library Collection – Glenlivet 2007

This may be youthful but it’s fabulous, sweet and spicy, salty and delicious, this is a fantastic dram that shows that age really is just a number, I’d happily drink this all night long.

Nose Sweet and sugary toffee caramel with some light edges of salted peanuts and sweet dried raisins, sweet cappuccino and caramel sauce, touches of oak sap and hints of menthol and popcorn.
Taste Sweet woody oak sap, slightly spicy, salted caramel, salted popcorn and honey roast peanuts and cashew nuts, tingly heat and peppercorns with a slight chilli spice.
Finish Spicy and peppercorns and salted caramel
